Guidelines on Sponsorship Application for Attending Conference/course
A. Selection criteria for sponsorship
1. HKARN Life or Full members who are going to have oral or poster presentations
at the event.
2. Life or Full members of HKARN with valid membership for at least 6 months.
3. Membership loyalty (duration of the continuous membership) will be
considered.
4. Nurses currently working in renal dialysis units will have the priority.
5. Applicants should not receive dual benefits for the applied event. That is, should
not be sponsored by other institutions for the same event.
6. No sponsorship for those who have received HKARN sponsorship for outside
Hong Kong or overseas conference within last 2 years from the date of this
application.
7. Sponsorship may cover registration fee, air ticket and accommodation to the
ceiling amount as stated in the invitation email.
8. HKARN reserves the rights in the final selection.
Ｂ. Information needed for the application
1. Completed application form.
3. Code of the accepted abstract and letter of acceptance (if applicable).
4. One page CV
5. Record of attendance of HKARN CNE activities within 2 years
C. Post conference commitment
Promote the functions related to the professional development of HKARN.
D. Application result
Results of the application will be sent to the applicants via email within 4 weeks.
E. Upon completion of the sponsored event
Submit certified copy (certified by your referee or a life/full member of HKARN)
of attendance certificate to HKARN within 2 weeks after the conference

The result of your application will be sent to you by email no later than 21 August 2023.
There are 10 sponsor quotas in total.. If you have got a successful sponsor, the course registration fee of 1,000 HKD will be reimbursed to you when you have completed the course with certificate proof.

Asia Pacific Chapter Meeting of International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis in Delhi, India. 22 September 2023 to 24 September 2023
On behalf of HKARN Council, I am writing to invite the life and full members of HKARN to apply for sponsorship of the captioned conference. The sponsorship, with contributions from Baxter Healthcare Ltd, covers the registration fee, air-fares and accommodation expenses (at a maximum of HK25,000 per member) for two members. Pre-congress course fee is not included. Priority of sponsorship would be granted to members who are going to have presentations at the captioned conference, OR to PD nurses who are committed to improve the PD patient service delivery.
